Commission Possible

Introducing Chloe Croft, a local artist to become our very first fundraising project to raise awareness and money for The Haven, a Breast Cancer Support Centre in London. The Haven supports BC victims and their families by offering free support, information and complementary therapies to anyone affected by breast cancer.

Chloe’s latest Press:

Chloe is a Masters fashion graduate from the world-renowned Royal College of Art. With an eclectic clientele ranging from crazy popsters the Scissor Sisters to the devilishly sophisticated Opera Singer Angelina Georgiou, she has built a strong reputation as the go to girl for elegant work with a vibrant twist.

Recently, Chloe has started to use her unique styling’s to create a range of handcut portraits, interior decor, and special commissions. She’s been labeled “The Paper Portraits Girl” she produces unique prints created entirely from hundreds of tiny pieces of parchment paper each painstakingly placed to form a mosaic image. “I’ve always created my fashion illustrations by building a paper and fabric mosaic that helps bring the outfit to life before I start to tailor it. I’ve always loved this part of the process and often people would ask if they could keep them. Then I’d pop round to their houses and see they’d had them framed and put on their wall – really very flattering”.

From Elle Decor to Living Etc., Chloe brings a fresh new medium into room decor, from bedrooms to all living spaces. Although her artwork has only been available for the last year it is quickly becoming highly collectable, and with Chloe being approached by some of the biggest hitters in the couture retail industry she is definitely one to watch in 2011.

“It’s been an amazing year really, I’m so happy that people enjoy my pictures as much as I do. I’m also really thrilled to be asked to get involved with The Pom Pom Project as it’s such a great charity run by some really lovely and inspiring people”.

We are honoured and over the moon to have Chloe Croft as our very first artist and hope you will make this fundraiser the most successful ever!
